Current developments in Project Catalyst research take stock of the pledges made to the Copenhagen Accord as of the February 1, 2010 soft deadline.

The 14 page document, published by Project Catalyst, provides an overview of the outcomes from the UNFCCC's COP 15 meeting in terms of emission reduction pledges, but also lays bare the necessity for stronger and more ambitious greenhouse gas (GHG) cutting targets.

"This latest report looks at the emissions implications of the pledges to the Copenhagen Accord," said ECF's Tom Brookes. He went on to say that it would be a useful document to read and share for anyone interested in the actual effects on emissions reductions of global climate negotiations.
